Hey, does anyone have any HEALTHY breakfast recipes that will fill me up in the morning?

I'm in highschool and I needed some quick, nutritious ideas. Thanks a bunch!Hey, does anyone have any HEALTHY breakfast recipes that will fill me up in the morning?
Please be careful with the ';to go'; bars. The quaker oatmeal bars all contain hydrogenated oils and other terrible preservatives. Kashi makes some great bars. Their pumpkin bars are amazing!! Some other things you can do is to hardboil eggs so that when you get up in the morning you can just grab one and go. Make yourself a sandwich the night before. There is nothing wrong with grabbing a sandwich in the morning. I would suggest oatmeal but that takes a bit more time. Get some preservative free graham crackers. Eat them plain or spread natural peanut butter on them and grab a banana.

If you have time to throw something in a blender there are a ton of smoothie recipes you could make. Invest in a good travel cup with a straw or whatever so you can make your smoothie and go.

String cheese or other kinds of cheese. They make all kinds now that are already cut and easy to take with you. Bake muffins on the weekends (if you are willing to bake). Then you'll have muffins for the week. Or do the same with healthy cookie recipes. There are also all kinds of recipes for cereal and granola bars. If you're willing to put in a littl work on the weekend then you'll have quick breakfasts for the entire week.

There are all kinds of things you can do. Just be imaginative and willing to think outside the box. And try really hard to avoid the prepackaged convenience foods because they are not healthy--even if many of them say they are. If they have a list of preservatives then they are NOT healthy.Hey, does anyone have any HEALTHY breakfast recipes that will fill me up in the morning?
if you want something quick and something low in fat, good for you and VERY good i would say oatmeal to go bars! they are delicious, you can get different flavors like cinnamon and honey and other kinds too, only 200 calories, try it!:)
Fry an egg in a pan with Nonstick cooking spray.

Put it on a toasted english muffin with a slice of cheese and a slice of ham.

You can make this the night before and warm it in the microwave in the morning.

It's like an ';egg mcmuffin'; but much healthier.
a big breakfast like eggs and pancakes and susges and grits in the morning for breakfast and your be ful
Boil 2 eggs for exactly 3 1/2 minutes. Break into a bowl; add 1 tsp butter, a little salt, a little pepper. Break up a piece of toast and combine with the egg. Delicious!
Toast with peanut butter and banana - fruit and protein!
OK get rolled oats put 2 cups of water to boil then add 1 cup whole rolled oats dash of salt put heat to simmer. soak raisins in Grand Marnier or fresh squozen O J Place some sliced almonds in a warm skillet and shake around careful they burn easily...keep an eye on it and keep lid slightly ajar... stir and DON'T let boil over... keep removing lid and stirring oats...I like it at about 6 minutes so I remove from heat at this point...In bottom of the bowl I am going to use I put a 1/4 of an apple small dice...then put a LARGE pinch of brown sugar then the raisins then the oatmeal then a huge blob of fresh yogurt I like vanilla then slightly stir this in then top w now aromatic and crunchy sliced almonds from skillet and Cinnamon ... NIRVANA ! OK you DO have time on the weekend ! but your date or family will never forget this it is a lovely breakfast I suppose one could also serve toasted buttered raisin/cinnamon bread and hot cocoa or french roast coffee w/ real cream...yyuummmmmmm. On school days eat an apple and 2 cheese sticks a hand full of nuts and milk ...
My favorite breakfast is cheese, fruit and bread.

Cheese - string cheese, cubed cheddar, slices of whatever is your favorite.

Fruit - fresh cut up fruit, or canned if you don't have fresh fruit.

Bread - Cinnamon toast or a bagel with cream cheese or a muffin or a croissant.

You can mix and match for a different variety each morning. Simple and healthy.
Fruits and a glass of milk.

Eggs if you have the time to cook .

A handful of nuts especially almonds and raisins.
Half a grapefruit, scrambled egg whites with spinach.

For the scrambled egg whites, don't use butter, just about a teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil. Buy a container of the pre-washed baby spinach leaves, throw a handful in a skillet and saute them for just a couple of minutes until they wilt. Add beaten egg whites, scramble them all up together until cooked, season with a little fresh ground pepper and fresh ground nutmeg.

It's really good, and very good for you, and it literally takes about 4 minutes to cook.
YEA OATMEAL IT IS GOOD FOR YOU AND A LITTLE BIT GOES A LONG WAY AND IT LOWERS YOUR BAD CHOLESTEROL.
go 1/2 all bran and 1/2 whatever cereal you like, with skim mik and a banana.
Kashi has a digestive-aid cereal out that I've heard tastes amazing! Don't worry about the weird name, because the key is it's got lots of nutrients and a TON of fiber to fill you up. Just cut up a piece of fruit on top of it, add milk, and there you go.
Invest in Whey Powder. It's considered a meal replacment, a quick drink and it's done.
Oatmeal is the best: it'll fill you up and keep you going for a longer time than cereal, eggs or yogurt will. There are many flavored instant varieties available or simply add cinnamon, vanilla or frozen berries to plain oats for a nice change.
