pancakes are delicious
This is really a great recipe! It is fast, simple and you usually have the ingredients on hand..
9 small pancakes
Ingredients
1 egg
3/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons margarine, melted
1 cup flour
1 tablespoon sugar
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions
1Beat egg until fluffy.
2Add milk and melted margarine.
3Add dry ingredients and mix well.
4Heat a heavy griddle or fry pan which is greased with a little butter on a paper towel.
5The pan is hot enough when a drop of water breaks into several smaller balls which 'dance' around the pan.
6Pour a small amount of batter (approx 1/4 cup) into pan and tip to spread out or spread with spoon.
7When bubbles appear on surface and begin to break, turn over and cook the other side.Breakfast recipes you can never go wrong with?
Monkey bread. Butter a bundt pan, then buy store bought biscuits without butter inthem. Cut them into quarters and shake the pieces in a bag filled with sugar and cinnamon. layer them in the pan. Then on the stove melt butter and brown sugar and pour that over the top of the rolls. Bake at 325 for 17-20 minutes. they are sooo good.
Assuming your entertaining breakfast is the easiest meal, a buffet because an English man is never served at breakfast! So go for bacon and eggs and orange juice, toast, and cereal and marmalade!
