I take sausage and sharp cheddar and mix bisquick with it and make sauage balls.then bake them...they are easy and yummy!Good Breakfast Recipes?

Breakfast Tacos
Ingredients:
4 eggs
1/4 cup of milk or half-and-half
4 slices of bacon, or 4 sausage patties or 1 cup of chorizo
1 cup of refried beans, heated
1/2 cup of salsa
1 cup of shredded Longhorn cheddar
4 flour tortillas
1 tablespoon of butter
Salt and pepper to taste
1. Whisk eggs with milk.
2. Heat up iron skillet on medium-high, and melt tablespoon of butter.
3. When butter is melted, pour in eggs and scramble for about three minutes or until done to your liking. Add salt and pepper to taste.
4. Heat up your flour tortillas either on a skillet, or by laying them on top of a gas burner. When tortilla starts to puff (about 20 seconds) turn it over and cook for another 20 seconds.
5. Take a tortilla and spread 1/4 cup of refried beans in the center of the tortilla. Add 1/4 of the scrambled eggs, 1/8 cup of salsa, 1/4 cup of cheese and either a slice of bacon or sausage patty.
6. Fold in bottom 1 inch of the tortilla, and then roll from left to right until self-contained.
Makes four tacos.
The variations are endless, so I鈥檓 providing a basic recipe with which you can experiment and change to your heart鈥檚 desire. You an also make them with chopped steak, saut茅ed vegetables, cut peppers, hash browns, or anything else you want.

and unless your going to purchase frozen breakfast foods or pancake mix - your going to cook breakfast from scratch. kinda impossible not to! lol
scratch is taking ingredients and putting them all together to make food you can eat. so even if all you do is take some fruit and yogurt and run it through a blender to make a smoothie - your making it from scratch.
Actually, yogurt, granola and berries have lots of sugar and carbohydrates - not the best way to start your day.
You're better off eating low-fat flour tortillas with cheese and eggs.
Scramble eggs in a pan, top with cheese and a tortilla, cover the pan so the cheese melts and the tortilla gets soft, then take the tortilla out, fill with the egg mixture, add some good salsa and you've got a yummy breakfast burrito. If you keep diced green chilis on hand, put those in the eggs, too.
Ham, bacon or sausage are all optional. But dicing up some ham to throw in with the eggs is easiest.
Spanish Potato Omelet
* 1/2 cup olive oil
* 1/2 pound potatoes, thinly sliced
* salt and pepper to taste
* 1 large onion, thinly sliced
* 4 eggs
* salt and pepper to taste
* 2 tomatoes - peeled, seeded, and coarsely chopped
* 2 green onions, chopped
DIRECTIONS
1. In a large frying pan or skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sprinkle potatoes lightly with salt and pepper. Cook until golden brown and crisp.
2. Once the potatoes are golden, stir in the onions. Cook, stirring occasionally, until onions soften and begin to brown.
3. Meanwhile, beat eggs together with salt and pepper. Pour eggs into pan and stir gently to combine. Reduce heat to low and cook until eggs begin to brown on the bottom.
4. Loosen bottom of omelet with a spatula, invert a large plate over the pan, and carefully turn the omelet out onto it. Slide the omelet back into the pan with the uncooked side down. Cook until eggs are set. Garnish omelet with tomato and green onion and serve warm.
Breakfast Quesadilla. Cook up either bacon or sausage, and then a egg. Than warm up your tortilla in a frying pan, turning it till it starts to brown a little. layer one half of it with about 3/4 of a cup of cheese. I like a Monterey and Colby Jack Mix, but i'm also a big fan of Queso Fresco, a Mexican cheese that metls at higher temperatures. Add in your meat and egg, and let the whole thing get brown and crispy. You can even smear a little butter on while it's cooking to finish off the texture.
Server that up with some mangos and yogurt if you want a complete meal.
Scratch is what you feed to the chickens!!! It helps them lay eggs with hard enough shells.
Making good breakfast burritos is no big deal!!
shred a half potato on the cheese grater coarse blade side into hot skillet with a little butter in it. Sprinkle bacon bits over that, and toss in your egg that has been stirred a bit.
Stir all this together and toss a bit to get it all done. Takes about 2 minutes flat. Takes longer to heat the tortilla to put this mess in.
breakfast taco?? put all this in hot taco shell and add some picante to it.
You could put some grated cheese on any of them.
Yoghurt, granola and fresh berries. A lot healthier than burritos!
