I want to make my boyfriend the best breakfast on his birthday but I'm having a hard time finding ';normal'; recipes for simple foods. I don't want anything super crazy. I just need good and simple recipes for french toast, crispy bacon and hash browns. I also don't know what kind of gravy to use for biscuts and gravy.Does anyone have any good breakfast recipes?

all you do for french toast is crack some eggs in a bowl, mix them with a fork and add some cinnamon, dip each side of the bread in the eggs and throw them on a hot pan, just dont let them burn.
Hashbrowns are easy. Buy a bag of them, I like to use butter, just turn on a pan and set some butter on it when it gets hot add the hashbrowns, you can either let them sit to cook or stir them around, again dont let them burn.
Bacon all you have to do is let a pan get hot, set the bacon on there and let each side cook.
Use the white country gravy for biscuits and gravy.
French toast is easy:
crack 2 eggs into a wide bowl (not deep, so you can lay bread down in it) whisk them with a whisk or fork then add a tsp. of vanilla, a pinch of cinnamon, and a dash of milk... then mix again. Take pieces of bread put them in the bowl on one side, then flip them over and do the other side, until fully coated... then cook as you would a pancake until mixture on the bread is fully cooked.
Bacon:
bacon is also fairly simple..
put however many pieces of bacon you want in a frying pan (you don't need to grease the pan at all because bacon has so much fat on it they cook in their own fat) turn heat onto medium/high, should take about 10-15 minutes, flip over occasionally and cook until crispy.
Hash Browns:

French toast is simple. Crack a few eggs in a bowl, add a touch of milk to make them runnier, add cinnamon, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Get a skillet hot and add butter. You want to either toast your bread or leave it out over night so it will be hard. You want the bread to almost be stale before cooking it so that the french toast will be firm not soggy. But toasting it briefly works as well. When butter is melted swirl it around pan. Dip one side of the bread in eggs and flip and do the other. Do this to around three pieces or however many easily fit in your pan w/o touching. They will take a minute or two depending on heat. Put it on medium or a little higher. Watch for when they are goldend brown on each side. Then they are ready. you can keep them warm by stick them in a warmed oven.
Hash Browns
Ingredients:
鈥? frozen hash brown patties
鈥? tsp. salt
鈥?/2 tsp. garlic powder
鈥? cup whipping cream
鈥? cup shredded cheddar cheese
Preparation:
Place frozen patties in a greased 13 x 9 x2-inch baking dish. Sprinkle salt and garlic powder over the potato patties. Pour whipping cream over patties. Bake uncovered, at 350掳 for 50 minutes. Sprinkle with the shredded cheese. Bake 10 minutes longer, or until potatoes are tender and cheese is melted.
I sometimes add a bit more cream and cheese, and I have made this with the shredded hash browns too. So easy and usually have no leftovers.

French Toast
2 cups of milk
4 eggs
1/2 cup of sugar
Cinnamon
Nutmeg
Mix them all up and dip your bread in, don't let it get too soggy, throw it in a pan with some butter and brown it up. If you want a special breakfast, using raisin bread would be great.
As for the rest, buy some apple wood/maple wood smoked thick-cut bacon, it's delicious. Store bought hash browns are fine, it's quite a task to make them homemade. One of the posters above me posted a great recipe for the gravy to use for biscuits and gravy. Good luck, hope he enjoys.
Ok this isn't really a recipe, and it might sound funny, but I'll tell you my absolute favorite combo to make for breakfast. You need: a bag of frozen hashbrowns, a bag of frozen corn, a package of sausage links, shredded cheese, whatever your favorite kind is, and seasoning.
Make all of these foods like normal, in a frying pan or however. Drain your corn, or just microwave it without water it doesn't matter. When you're making the hashbrowns make sure you add some seasoning just any mixture, like lawrys seasoning or something like that all purpose seasoning. Cut up your cooked sausage links, and combine all of the mess into one big pan and let is mix together. Throw some cheese on top, and I swear you wll be in heaven!
how about a simple hash-browns?? go to the store and buy them its the easiest thing to do..or if you want: get a clean potatoe, get a cheese grater and grate the potatoes then in a skillet wil a bit of oil, then put a cover over the pan....and in 20 mintues it should be done, but i recommend buying them
*french toast!!!
ok you will need -bread
-eggs
-milk
-cinnamon
-brown sugar *optional
-powdered sugar *optional
now in a large mixing bowl add the eggs usually 2 eggs..then add in the milk and mix well...then you want to add a dash of cinnamon...then you want to beat well with a fork with the motion of up and down to get the eggs smooth and silky....then you want to get a piece of bread and cut it in half and put the whole bred in the bowl, and put on a skillet on medimum heat...then once its done you put it on a plate with syrup, strawberries, and powedered sugar or brown sugar and its delicious!!! then bacon, BUY BACON!! let it sizzle in the pan for about 10 mintues...and gravy..hmmm, BUY a packet of gravy and it should tell you what to add, like milk and stuff...but i would suggest either biscuts and gravy or honey!! its delicouis hope it helped and my hand is sore from typing
make home made sausage gravy
1/2 lb sausage
milk
flour
water
salt and pepper
brown sausage, do NOT drain, add milk, bring to a boil, reduce heat to simmer, add flour mixed with water, and shaken to eliminate lumps slowly to thicken, salt and pepper to taste
you can make home made biscuits too, but the grands ones from Pillsbury are pretty good
