When you say breakfast, you mean only pancakes? Because there are many breakfast foods that don't require milk or baking soda. But here's a pancake recipe.

Here's an eggless recipe for pancakes that my mom gave me (I'm vegan),

and they're extremely good and don't fall apart:

2 1/2 cups flour

2 Tbs baking powder

2 Tbs sugar

1 tsp salt

1 Tbs oil

2 1/2 cups soymilk or water

_Lightly_ mix all ingredients in a slightly larger-than-normal bowl; the

batter will be lumpy. It's important not to overmix, as this will make

the pancakes tough (just like making biscuits). Leave 5-10 minutes to

rise, then gently fold in and leave for another 5-10 minutes if you have

the time (not essential). Gently fold in again. Cook on a lightly

oiled/';buttered'; griddle on medium to medium-high heat, carefully

breaking up any large lumps that may be left.

My mom made this for a whole bunch of us one morning, and they were an

instant hit! Enjoy.

BREAKFAST BURRITO

2 flour tortillas (7 or 8 inches in diameter)

1/2 cup (2 oz.) grated Monterey jack, Cheddar, or Swiss cheese

2 eggs

Tabasco sauce

Salt and freshly ground pepper

1 tsp. butter or oil

2 Tbsp. chopped green onions

2 Tbsp. salsa

In the oven: Preheat the oven to 350飩? Place the tortillas on a cookie sheet, sprinkle with cheese. Put them in the oven long enough for the cheese and the tortillas to brown lightly in spots (about 4 to 5 minutes).

On the stovetop: Heat a pan large enough to accommodate a tortilla. Warm 卢the tortilla for about 1 minute. The heated side should begin to brown slightly. Flip and sprinkle cheese evenly over the surface. Cover for about 1 minute, or until the cheese is melted. Keep warm while preparing the second tortilla in the same way.

When the tortillas are nearly ready, beat the eggs with several drops of 卢Tabasco sauce and salt and pepper as desired. Heat the butter in a separate pan, add green onions, stir for a few seconds, and add the eggs. Over medium heat, scramble the eggs to your taste. Add salsa and stir briefly.

Divide the egg mixture between the 2 tortillas, distributing the egg along one-third of each tortilla. Add additional ingredients if you wish and roll from the side with the egg on it.
