i have a project due for my class tomorrow, and i need a breakfast recipe thats healthy. if u could give me that recipe and the steps 4 it that would be great!!What are some easy and Healthy breakfast recipes?
All of us need breakfast it does not have to be eggs, bacon and toast it can be so many more things.
One of my favorite breakfasts for wintertime is:
oatmeal and low fat milk
boil the water and add a pinch of salt
add the dry oatmeal some are made to cook for a short time and other types take longer but both are healthy.
The oats are cut or rolled to lessen the cooking time so it's called
';quick cooking';
When the water comes to a boil add the oatmeal and stir it then lower the heat and put the lid on so it has time to steam and puff up.
Take a bowl and place the oatmeal in it then top it with cooked apples and milk.
To cook the apples:
Peel about 2 medium apples cut into cubes and remove seeds and core. Place in little saucepan and add enough water to cover them bring to a boil then put the lid on and lower the heat let cook until soft you can then add cinnamon and brown sugar for flavor.
Toast some raisin bread and butter it
Pour a glass of orange juice 4 ounces is a good size
When I eat this breakfast it warms my stomach and I feel very satisfied and it lasts for many hours before I eat lunch.
It has fiber from the oatmeal, vitamins, minerals and the milk has calcium for your bones. The orange juice gives you vitamin C and the bread and fruit are also healthy breakfast foods.
Best wishes on your homework,

Quiche is fairly healthy, it has spinach, eggs, and cheese in it, and if you use low fat cheese, its not too high in fat.
Ingredients:
1 9'; pie crust
10oz fresh spinach, chopped finely
1 cup milk
3 eggs, beaten
2 Tbsp. margerine, melted
1 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (I use low fat - made w/ 2% milk)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375. Bake pie crust for 10 minutes and remove from oven. Sprinkle 1/4 cup of cheese on the crust and top with chopped spinach. In a separate bowl, combine milk, eggs, margerine, flour, salt, pepper, and 3/4 cup of cheese. Pour mixture over spinach. Bake 35-45 minutes or until knife inserted into center comes out clean.
There is this unusual omelette that my friend would make me.
You can use 2 or 3 eggs and crack them in the pan (use fat free non-stick spray never oil) and add soy sauce to the cooking eggs (just enough to give it some color). You can also add diced green onions and chopped pieces of ham. If you add cheese, add provolone (yum). Let it sit in the pan, fold it over then flip.
She also would make rice with it. You can use a rice cooker or just a pan. Follow the directions on the rice bag (I think its 2 cups water to every 1 cup of rice). Brown rice is healthier. Also, you can add a cup or two of frozen mixed veggies to the rice while its cooking (it will cook together).
This takes a little time because of the rice but you're really just waiting for it cook on the stove, no stirring, little prep, and omelettes are easy!
Hope this helps!
I like having yogurt in the morning. It's especially nice in the summer when fruit is readily available, but it's good with dried fruit too.
It's simple to make:
Plain Greek yogurt (nice and thick)
Variety of fruit (Strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, peaches)
Roasted nut mixture, unsalted (almonds, peanuts, pecans, cashews)
Organic local honey
I like to put it in a clear glass bowl and layer the ingredients, serve it on a plate with some fresh OJ and a hot cup of tea.
Oatmeallll bars. YUM
bagel with cream cheese or jelly
french toast
