HOT ROAST BEEF SANDWICHES (LUNCH)

1 lb. thinly sliced roast beef

1 can beef broth

1 whole onion, thinly sliced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 small can sliced mushrooms

2 tablespoons ketchup

1/2 tsp. onion powder

1/4 tsp. garlic powder

1/4 tsp. each salt and pepper

In a medium saucepan, bring beef broth to a boil. Add onion and garlic powder, ketchup, minced garlic and sliced onion.

When broth comes to a rolling boil, drop in the separated sliced roast beef and remove immediately from heat. Using a slotted spoon, remove roast beef from broth after 2-3 minutes. Return broth to stove on high setting and sprinkle Wondra flour over surface, stirring briskly to avoid lumps.

Simmer over medium heat 5 minutes. At the last minute, drain the sliced mushrooms and add. Pour over roast beef on white bread. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve.

Try a sandwich for lunch. Here are sandwhiches to choose from. Good luck!

You know, like scones and thinks like that. What are some British breakfast items and where can I find recipes for them?
We don't eat scones for breakfast. they are for tea.

Breakfast is kedgeree, eggs benedict, FEB. Try bbc.com/foodWhat are some British breakfast items and where can I find recipes for them?
    Bubble %26amp; Squeak.

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/databa鈥?/a>

Basically, Bubble %26amp; Squeak used to be all the vegetables that had not been used on the evening meal being fried together the next morning. Now these modern day recipes are making it just a little bit too fancy.
Full english breakfast: Fried mushrooms, roast tomatoes, toast with butter, rudding, sausages, fried potatoes (optional), fried egg, and never, ever forget the tea. Have to drink tea with and english breakfast.

I might be forgetting things here.
English muffins and poached or fried egg, sausages, fried tomatoes, muffins(i think) and scones etc.
Blood sausage, kippers, scottish eggs. Try cookbooks - Joy of Cooking, Better Home %26amp; Gardens. Go to the library or type in British recipes on the internet.
    - Full English : Pork sausages ; baked beans ; bacon ; fried egg ; toast ; fried potatoes ; mushrooms ... no recipe needed really just fry everything! =]

Plain yogurt with orange marmalade and glazed walnuts. (To glaze walnuts -- mix 1/4 cup of butter, 1/4 cup brown sugar and 1 cup walnuts in a fry pan. Turn on the heat on med. high, and shake but don't stir until nice and bubbly. Turn out onto buttered foil and let cool). Serve with toast and a really nice tea, like Jasmine or Celestial Seasonings' Mandarin Orange Tea.

Most people don't like to make a production out of breakfast. I think a spinach and cheese omelette with a little whole wheat toast and maybe half an orange is a great breakfast!

But, if you do want to get fancy, cinnamon rolls are nice, too. Take your favorite bread dough (frozen is OK, or make it up in the breadmaker), spread it into a rectangle, and add a layer of sugar, butter and cinnamon (try 1/4 cup sugar and 1/4 cup butter with 1 tsp of cinnamon for starters -- make up more if you need it). Roll it up, and cut it with a knife or dental floss. Put it in a square baking pan (like you use for brownies) and keep in the fridge until morning. Pull it out an hour before you bake it to let it rise. Then bake at 175 C (350 F) for 20 to 30 minutes or until the bread is baked through (see package or recipe for ';buns'; and follow those directions).

Healthy and tasty recipes for young vegetarian's breakfast?

I need recipes for healthy and tasty recipes for a young vegetarian's breakfast. My sister and I are lacking in the things we're missing out on without meat in our diet, so, things high in protein, iron, calcium and anything else we may be missing would be much appreciated! The healthier the better. Complicated recipes are no problem, but nothing that will take longer than a half an hour to make. Thank you!Healthy and tasty recipes for young vegetarian's breakfast?
I'm assuming you are lacto-ovo, as you did not specify. Eggs and cheese are sources of protein, and super easy. Add some spinach and make eggs florantine for a little more iron. Yogurt is great for calcium and protein, and contains probiotics. A simple breakfast of cereal with milk or soy milk, and a piece of fruit is enough for me, but I get veggies and beans in other meals. You can try quinoa and veggies for breakfast. I also like oatmeal, but add nuts for protein to it and dried fruit, sometimes I'll just mix peanutbutter, honey, and a banana in (a trick I learned from staying in hotels when I travel, it's almost always available at continental breakfasts, warm, and filling enough to keep me satisfied until lunch, even doing work outdoors). Healthy and tasty recipes for young vegetarian's breakfast?
    Breakfasts are a sinch.

I eat this exact breakfast even before I was Vegetarian

2 weetbix + Banana on top (weetbix are fortified with iron, zinc, folate)

w/ soymilk (Im lactose intolerant, but the soy milk is fortified with calcium and vitamin D)

1/2 a piece of whole grain toast with almond butter (protien!, and peanut butter is fine too)

And wash it down with a small glass of apple and mango juice (no added sugar)

It sounds complicated, but man I love my breakfast :)
    I really love scrambled tofu.

You can throw whatever veggies you'd like in there. The nutritional yeast gives it a nice savory cheezy flavor and has tons of vitamins. here's the nutrition label from a container of nutritional yeast:

Smoothies are easy and very versatile. Use whatever fruit you have and a little water or soymilk (or ricemilk or coconut milk or whatever.) You can even add a bit of raw spinach to pack in some more nutrition without compromising taste. Google ';green smoothies'; for more info on that.

I'm an Italian boy and I'd like to cook a typical american breakfast.May I have some good recipes?

I mean something easy to cook but very very tasty!

    Thanks a lot!!

    Greetings from Rome!!

Ciao e grazie!I'm an Italian boy and I'd like to cook a typical american breakfast.May I have some good recipes?
Unfortunately there really isn't a ';typical'; American breakfast. It depends on what part of the country you grew up in and what your ethnic background is.

I live in NY. I guess a typical breakfast would be eggs, meat and bread. If I am making an easy breakfast I scramble eggs in butter with salt and pepper. I slightly undercook them and cover them and they get nice and fluffy. On the side a grilled ham steak or bacon, and some type of toasted bread (I prefer English muffin or bagel) with butter. If I am particularly motivated I might make hash browns. Oh, and OJ.

By the way we returned from Italy a few months ago. We had this great juice in the morning. I thought it was blood orange juice, but when I juiced blood oranges my eyes watered from the tartness and bitterness. We also had some soft cheese with bread. Do you know what either of these are and where I can buy them in the states?I'm an Italian boy and I'd like to cook a typical american breakfast.May I have some good recipes?
Here you go, Buy some pillsbury southern biscuits and put in oven. Brown off some Jimmy dean pork sausage (1#) add 1/4 cup flour and cook 30 seconds stirring. Add 1 quart whole milk and cook until thick. Cook a few eggs and put on top of buscuits with gravy on top of that. UUUMMMMM.

You should only eat this once in a while as it is loaded with fat.
Typical? Dry cereal and milk! Lucky Charms. OR you can make scrambled eggs, bacon and pancakes! Yum!
My favorite is Sausage Gravy %26amp; Biscuits but Chef24 beat me to it. Second favorite- Sliced ham fried till it has crispy spots, eggs scrambled with a bit of grated cheddar %26amp; whole wheat toast with orange marmalade.
I'm providing you with more than 100 American recipes. Recipes which are easy to cook and tasty to eat. You can find these secret recipes at:

Chop up and brown 2 or 3 rashers of bacon in a pan.

Chop up and cook in an equal amount of chopped onion.

Drain off fat and mix in about 1 cup leftover white rice.

Make an omelet - mix together 2 or 3 eggs and some milk.

Pour egg out on pan to coat.

Put the rice on top - fold it over and cook the other side. You can add more of the egg.

i usu sally make scrambled eggs, bacon, or sausage. I also pair it with hash browns and orange juice

Eggs- Crack and fry in a greased pan (you can use olive oil or some other type of cooking oil) add salt and pepper to taste, cook until they are done.

Sausage/ bacon- fry in the same pan as the eggs (you may want to cook these items first so that you can use the grease from the meat to flavor your eggs) cook until no longer pink.

Hash browns- cut up already cooked potatoes and fry in a skillet with cooking oil until they re brown and crispy but not burnt.

    GOOD LUCK!!!!
Here is what I saw on the Food Network channel and made and it was loved by all.

2 c shredded or cubed potatoes precooked is best

1-2 tomatoes Roma tomatoes are good, so are beef steak tomatoes but remove the seeds as its to juicy with them.

    2 cups precooked pork sausage

cook all on a flat top grill or on a griddle til all is slightly browned and crisp tender. Add 4 eggs that have been whisked well and stir all to gether til eggs are completely cooked and fluffy. Toss on a bit of cheese of choice we used pepper jack and some cheddar and plate with toast or an english muffin. Enjoy
