SAUSAGE BREAKFAST CASSEROLE

1 (16 ounce) package roll sausage, cooked, drained, crumbled

6 slices white bread, cubed

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

5 eggs

2 cups milk

1 teaspoon salt

In medium bowl, combine sausage, bread and cheese. In small bowl, beat eggs and mix in milk and salt. Pour egg mixture over sausage mixture and stir to combine. Place in 8 x 10 baking dish. Refrigerate overnight.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

Yield: 4 to 6 servings

BREAKFAST PIZZA

1 (8 ounce) package refrigerated crescent rolls

4 eggs, beaten

1/4 cup milk

1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped

1 cup diced ham

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

For crust, unroll crescent rolls and separate into triangles. Place triangles in a 10 inch quiche dish with points toward center. Press triangles together to cover bottom and 1/2 inch up sides of dish.

Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Meanwhile, combine eggs, milk and chives. When crust is lightly browned, leave on oven shelf. Carefully pour egg mixture onto crust.

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes more or until egg mixture is almost set. Sprinkle with ham and cheese.

Bake for 5 more minutes or until cheese is melted. Cut into wedges.

Yield: 6 servings

CHEESY POUFS

1 (10 ounce) can refrigerated flaky biscuits (like Hungry Jack)

1 (5 ounce) can refrigerated flaky biscuits

2 cups diced ham

2 cups shredded cheese (any kind you like)

Separate each biscuit into 3 thinner biscuits. Lay each biscuit piece over a mini-muffin pan cup. Press each biscuit into the cup like a pie crust. Fill each cup with ham and top with cheese.

Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes, until golden brown. Remove from pans immediately and serve warm.

Yield: 45 poufs

Variation: Instead of ham, use crumbled sausage or bacon.

Cinnamon Bun Coffee Cake

2 cups flour

Monster Toast ~ for the kids %26amp; anyone looking for something different

Ingredients:

Bread

2 - 3 TB Milk in a couple of small containers

Food Coloring

Paint Brush

Toaster

Mix food coloring (a couple of drops depending on color preference) and milk.

Let kids paint the bread. Make sure it does not get too much paint or it will be soggy toast. (for some reason my toaster doesn't like too much milk..makes funny noises at me if DD really soaked a piece..)

Toast and then add your favorite toast toppings (pb, jelly, etc)

1 C oatmeal

1 1/2 C milk

Alma's Chocolate Gravy

1/3-cup flour

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 cup sugar

1/4 cup cocoa

1/2 tsp vanilla

2 cups sweet milk

1/2 stick butter

Combine dry ingredients; mix well. Add milk and cook until thickened. Add butter and vanilla; stir until well mixed and butter is melted. Serve with hot biscuits.

Cream Cheese Biscuits (Good w/chocolate gravy)

2 cups Bisquick or other baking mix

4 ounces cream cheese

1/2 to 1 tablespoon milk

These biscuits are extra simple, but they are a perfect match with chocolate gravy. Combine Bisquick or other baking mix and cream cheese. A pastry blender works beautifully. Add enough mik to moisten the dough. It鈥檚 really a preference thing. Put the dough on a lightly floured surface, and knead it a few times. Roll out the dough to whatever thickness you like, cut out, and place on a greased/sprayed/Silpat-ed baking sheet.

The number of biscuits is based on the thickness of your rolled out dough %26amp; the size of the cutter. So from 6 to 12. Bake at 425 for about 12 minutes or until browned.
