Breakfast meatloaf

3lbs bulk turkey sausage

bacon strips

3 hard boiled eggs

1 raw egg

cheese

1/2 small diced onion

crackers or dry biscuits

seasoning to taste

in a small pan cook your onions and in another pan boil your 3 eggs. in a large bowl mix your sausage, raw egg, hand full of shredded cheese, onion and crushed crackers/biscuits. Place in a roasting pan and shape into a large loaf or separate into 3 small loaf pans to make 3 small loaves. make an indention in the middle of you loaf/loaves and place hard boiled eggs inside your meatloaf and press meatloaf around eggs covering them up. place several pieces of raw bacon on top and bake in a 350 oven for 1 1/2 hours.

in the mean time make cheesy hash browns and country gravy

for cheesy hash browns take a few potatoes and grate them with a cheese grater, cook in frying pan in oil with salt and pepper. once nice and golden brown take out and top with cheese.

then get a packet of country gravy mix and cook according to the directions its really easy and place that on top of meatloaf when you serve it.

this is a yummy breakfast and different. you can also add onions peppers and mushrooms to the hash browns. What are good breakfast recipes?

berries and yogurt. oats and yogurt. banana and yogurt. those are three yummo combos. yogurt is so nice at breakfast time. i dont know if you like marmite or vegemite but down here in new zealand we love it. i even have marmite and banana on toast for something a little different. when making your porridge toss some dates in and a bit of extra water and they will go sort and mushy and really yummy kind of like golden toffee. make a fruit salad. freshly squeezed orange juice and toast with peanut butter. crumpets with honey and banana. a glass of oat milk and a handful of blueberries. those are just simple things. there is also stuff like omelette with whatever fillings you like, french toast, or even a boiled egg. or fried eggs and sausages. fried pinapple is yum too. baked beans on toast. scrambled eggs on toast. breakfast muffins. just do your standard muffin recipe and then toss in some dried fruit, seeds, chopped nuts, honey.....its good. toasted muesli with yogurt or milk and banana for something really filling. banana bread (look up recipe online) banana fritters. pancakes or pikelets. have fun and experiment. those are things ranging from simple to more exquisite but they all satisfy that need for variety. of course it all depends on how much time you have. another favourite with me is some plain or vanilla yogurt, a sprinkling of LSA (linseed sunflower and almond ground up stuff) and banana. the LSA is soooo good and gives it a nutty seedy taste thats not yuck and really good. you can jazz up a lot of these recipes with LSA and even cinnamon or nutmeg. also experiment with smoothies, just blend whatever fruits and you like with milk, yogurt and ice. will be a great satisfier. anything else? i dunno. just look round your kitchen now and see if you get any ideas. there are loads of exciting cereals out there too if you want to have a look. sultana bran is a fave. i try and pick nutritional things for breakfast as it IS the most important meal of the day. dont skip it!! you can make it something to look forward to! also dont bust the budget, keep things cheap as you have breakfast EVERY day so it can be expensive if you are always buying things. just depends what you feel like really. hope i helped!

Australian options

Vitabrits

Vegemite on toast
You can top your pancakes with something else. Or add something new in the batter. Choc chips, fruit, honey, whip cream. You can make pancakes out of cornbread batter.

You can make breakfast tacos/burritos out of anything, same with breakfast pizza. I love them.

Biscuits and gravy. Steak and eggs. Pork chops or ham with eggs.

I love hashbrowns but you could do other types of potatoes.

You can also do fruit and smoothies and juice blends.

Milkshakes and ice cream are great for breakfast. It is wholesome and its good to get those calories early in the day.

You can also just eat almost anything else from other times of the day.

Try a new cereal.
My fave is a toasted english muffin with an egg cooked however you like it. You can add cheese, bacon, ham, sausage, or whatever else you like.
fiber one breakfast recipes are the best, especially the pancakes. just add whip cream and strawberries on top and you're in heaven.
