The website I linked below has quite a few excellent healthy recipes for breakfast...

Spinach and tomato omelet

1 teaspoon extra-virgin olive oil

5 cherry tomatoes, halved

1 scallion, sliced

1 cup baby spinach, washed, with water still clinging to leaves

1/2 cup liquid egg substitute, such as Egg Beaters

1/4 cup shredded reduced-fat Cheddar cheese

1/8 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon freshly ground pepper

1 tablespoon water

1. Spray a small nonstick skillet with cooking spray. Add oil and heat over medium-high heat. Add tomatoes and scallion and cook, stirring once or twice, until softened, 1 to 2 minutes. Place spinach on top, cover and let wilt, about 30 seconds. Stir to combine.

2. Pour in egg substitute, reduce heat to medium-low and continue cooking, stirring constantly with a heatproof rubber spatula, until the egg is starting to set, about 20 seconds. Continue cooking, lifting the edges so the uncooked egg will flow underneath, until mostly set, about 30 seconds more.

3. Sprinkle cheese, salt and pepper over the omelet. Lift up an edge of the omelet and drizzle the remaining 1 tablespoon water under it. Cover, reduce heat to low and cook until the egg is completely set and the cheese is melted, about 2 minutes. Fold over using the spatula and serve.

This recipe takes a little time BUT you can make a batch and freeze them for future breakfast or lunch..

Breakfast muffins...

2 cups whole-wheat flour

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper

1/4 teaspoon salt

2 eggs

1 1/3 cups buttermilk

3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

2 tablespoons butter, melted

1 cup thinly sliced scallions (about 1 bunch)

3/4 cup diced Canadian bacon (3 ounces)

1/2 cup grated Cheddar cheese

1/2 cup finely diced red bell pepper

1. Preheat oven to 400掳F. Coat 12 muffin cups with cooking spray.

2. Combine whole-wheat flour, all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, pepper and salt in a large bowl.

3. Whisk eggs, buttermilk, oil and butter in a medium bowl, fold in scallions, bacon, cheese and bell pepper. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients.

Add the wet ingredients and mix with a rubber spatula until just moistened. Scoop the batter into the prepared pan (the cups will be very full).

4. Bake the muffins until the tops are golden brown, 20 to 22 minutes. Let cool in the pan for 5 minutes. Loosen the edges and turn the muffins out onto a wire rack to cool slightly before serving.

Hope you like the recipes as much as we do =)Does any one know any easy recipes for breakfast thats very healthy?
this breakfast frittata should be quite helpful :1 1/2 cups frozen hash brown potatoes

vegetable oil spray

salt and pepper to taste

1 1/2 cups shredded cheese

2 cups any combination of vegetables and/or meat

2 cups egg substitute (like egg beaters)

Preparation:

Microwave potatoes 3 to 5 minutes on high, or until hot; drain as necessary. Spray pie plate with vegetable oil spray; pour in the egg substitute. Layer potatoes, salt %26amp; pepper, vegetables and/or meats, and 1 cup cheese into pie plate. Top with remaining cheese. Bake at 350掳 for about 40 minutes or until center is set. Cool slightly before serving.

Make your own combination:

Mexican Frittata - Use Monterey Jack %26amp; Cheddar cheese, diced green chilies, diced tomato, chopped onion

French Frittata - Use Swiss cheese, chopped ham, chopped spinach, and sliced mushrooms

Italian Frittata - Use Mozzarella cheese, thin quartered zucchini slices, chopped tomato, and sliced black olives.
cook some plain quaker oats and then add in some banana and with it have a slice of wheat toast with some peanut butter onit..it will definatley keep you full for a long time while giving u the right amouint of fat:carbs:protein to kick start your day!

or you could opt for some cereal thats kinda plain like special K protein, and then add in some berries with skim milk and a glass of OJ..which would also be good

btu usually for myself i have a bowl of kashi 7 whole grains puffed with fat free lactaid and with that i have a fruit (either banana or apple) and then i have a lightly satled rice cake (or 2) with either an egg white i microwave on each or a little bit of peanut butter...i eat that around 7ish and that gets me to about 10:30-11 in school the3n im ready for lunch
you just have whole wheat bread with jam with or without margarine and banana or chose your favorite fruits

You also have cereal

here is good way of making healthy breakfast:

get a whole grain cereal Plain or regular

put in some blueberries or strawberries or raspberries (all 3) + banana (all fresh)

blueberries %26amp; strawberries are the most common fruits to put into the cereal

It will also work with Quaker Quick Oatmeal (container)
Three egg whites, and one medium egg omelet with green peppers, onion, and turkey bacon. Topped with salsa, and low fat shredded cheese. With a side of low fat cottage cheese, and fruit.
