to sum this the s= gravey o= on and the s=toast

so comes s--t on a shingle
Brown a 1# roll of sausage, breaking it up as it cooks. Add about 3-4 T. flour and stir til the sausage is coated with the flour. Start adding milk, about 2 c. Keep stirring until it's smooth. You may want to add more milk depending on how thick you like your gravy. Add 2 t. salt and 2 t. black pepper. Cook, stirring for about 20 min. Of course, then, you serve this over some big fresh, fluffy biscuits and maybe some homefries or hashbrowns.
Ingredients

1 cup Monterey Jack cheese (shredded)

1/2 tsp pepper

6 eggs

6 oz chorizo sausage

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 cup milk

1/2 cup salsa

8 corn tortillas

optional: hot sauce (I use Tabasco)

Directions

1. Grind the chorizo sausage into a skillet at medium to high heat. Cook and mix until the sausage is brown and then set it aside.

2. Heat a skillet on medium heat. Then heat another skillet on high heat.

3. Using a (medium or large) bowl, mix together the milk, eggs, salt and pepper.

4. Use cooking spray and spray the skillet that鈥檚 on medium heat and pour in the mixture of milk, eggs, salt and pepper. Cook and stir until your mixture is almost firm.

5. Now include the chorizo sausage and keep on cooking until firm. In the meantime, warm the tortillas for 45 seconds on each side in the skillet that鈥檚 on high heat.

6. Add some shredded cheese on each hot tortilla and then include the scrambled egg and sausage. Then add your choice of hot sauce and enjoy your morning!
1/2 pkg. mild sausage

2 tbsp. butter

2 tbsp. all purpose flour

1 cup whole milk

1 1/2 tsp. salt

1 1/2 tsp. pepper

Cook up sausage and set aside. Melt the butter and slowly stir in the flour, cook the 2 together under med heat until the mix gets golden brown, then slowly add the milk and keep stirring until it thickens, then at salt and peper to taste and the sausage.

Make sure you have some biscuits handy!!

Or run to the store. Thay have breakfast gravy usually called sausage gravy in a jar with the other gravies, not too bad
It depends on the type and amount of gravy you want to make.

First put a small amount of oil, bacon drippings, sausage drippings etc. in a skillet, over med.heat add sifted flour(though I prefer unbleached, any will do),stir cont.%26amp;add flour as it is absorbed. When all the flour is absorbed, add milk or water, your choice.Stir constantly until desired consistancy, careful,it burns.Salt%26amp;pepper to suit your taste.Serve over biscuits, buns etc.

This can also be made with crumbled sausage, ground beef or fresh, peeled tomatos.Experiment with what you like.It takes a few times to get this down pat but it's not expensive to make and well wourth the effort!
Im going to help you by not giving you a recipe for gravy for breakfast, my god what are you thinking! Not healthy.
Heinz 51. Gravy isn't for breakfast dude!
