Recently I have started eating quaker for breakfast. Any tasty winter/summer recipes please?

I live in Greece and unfortunately the food stores here sell only the plain type of quaker (with no fruits and other ingredients).

Thank you all in advance for your help.Recently I have started eating quaker for breakfast. Any tasty winter/summer recipes please?

I love to make it with brown sugar, cinnamon, and rasins. I've also cooked it plain, added peanut butter and bananas. Here's an excellent recipe for homemade granola. It's my favorite way to eat it in the summer. If you don't have maple syrup over there, golden syrup or honey will work too.

3 cups rolled oats

1 cup slivered almonds

1 cup cashews

3/4 cup shredded sweet coconut

1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons dark brown sugar

1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons maple syrup

1/4 cup vegetable oil

3/4 teaspoon salt

1 cup raisins

Preheat oven to 250 degrees F.

In a large bowl, combine the oats, nuts, coconut, and brown sugar.

In a separate bowl, combine maple syrup, oil, and salt. Combine both mixtures and pour onto 2 sheet pans. Cook for 1 hour and 15 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes to achieve an even color.

Remove from oven and transfer into a large bowl. Add raisins and mix until evenly distributed.
Quaker Oatmeal is great with some added Raisins, Walnuts, Brown Sugar or Maple Syrup. I think its better to add your own stuff than buy the pre-flavored stuff.
You can add any fruit that is in season. Really good ones are apples - good for winter, blueberries, and peaches - both good for summer.

Don't forget to add 2 TBSP Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
i think u can be creative n add dried apricots n raisins, or maybe some roasted nuts as well? they taste good with oats. good luck!
mix a little cinnamin, sugar and applesauce in it , raisins are great too.
